By requesting an invitation to attend a Karleen event, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
Nature of the Experience
Karleen is not a dating service, matchmaking agency, or relationship counseling service. Karleen events are designed to provide an opportunity for guests to meet, enjoy conversation, and share a pleasant afternoon together. While friendships, professional relationships, or romantic relationships may naturally develop, Karleen makes no guarantees regarding any particular outcome.
Attendance
Attendance is by invitation only. Each invitation is issued specifically for the invited guest and may not be transferred without prior approval.
Arrival
Please arrive on time so you can enjoy the welcome reception, refreshments, and the opportunity to meet fellow guests before lunch begins.
Guest Selection
Every invitation request is thoughtfully reviewed in an effort to create a respectful, welcoming, and enjoyable atmosphere. Although Karleen make every reasonable effort to invite guests who reflect the values of the Karleen experience, no screening process can guarantee the character, intentions, conduct, or compatibility of any individual. Guests are responsible for exercising their own judgment when interacting with others during and after the event.
Guest Conduct
Every guest contributes to the atmosphere at Karleen. We ask that all conversations remain respectful and considerate. Kindness, courtesy, and good character are expected.
Personal Responsibility
Attendance at a Karleen event is entirely voluntary. Each guest is responsible for their own decisions, conversations, and relationships that may develop before, during, or after the event. Karleen assumes no responsibility for interactions, communications, or relationships that occur outside of the hosted event.
Guest Conduct
Karleen reserves the right to decline invitations, refuse admission, or ask a guest to leave if their behavior is disruptive, disrespectful, inappropriate, or inconsistent with the welcoming atmosphere Karleen strive to create.
Privacy
Karleen respects the privacy of every guest. Guest names, photographs, professions, and personal information are never publicly without permission. Guests are likewise expected to respect the privacy of one another.
Contact Information
If two guests enjoy getting to know one another and wish to continue the conversation after the event, they are welcome to exchange contact information. There is never any expectation to do so.
Food & Beverages
Guests are responsible for informing Karleen of any food allergies or dietary restrictions before attending.
While every reasonable effort will be made to accommodate dietary requests when possible, Karleen cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
Cancellations
Because seating is intentionally limited, we kindly ask that you notify us as soon as possible if you are unable to attend so another guest may be invited.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Karleen, its owners, employees, representatives, and event hosts shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, injury, damage, or claim arising from participation in a Karleen event or from interactions between guests before, during, or after the event.
